Our softball team finished the season with a play off loss on Sunday June 24th. Our record this year was 2-10 which was two wins better than last season. It was certainly a fun season for us and all 20 players on the roster got to play. Mike Hamilton, was an alternate to the all star list. This year the league organized a home run derby and an all star game. Matt Kruger participated in the home run derby and the following players were selected by team vote to go to the all star game. Mel Kostrick, Shirley Ramsey, Matt Kruger, Bill Gnagy, Alan Kostrick and Jason Russ. Only Shirley and Matt, however, were available to participate. These events were held on July 7th. The Christian Character Award for our team was presented to Jim Sanford at the July 1st Championship game and fellowship BBQ.
