Join us for our summer Church School Journey to Egypt!
Egypt Logo for Summer CE

This summer our Church School Children will Journey to Egypt with Joseph and experience the presence of God in their every day life!  Children will learn to recognize God through the beauty of a sunset, a friend, even a laugh!

Our summer Church School program runs a bit differently:  it includes only children ages 3 through 3rd grade.  (Older children, middle and high schoolers are encouraged to worship together with their families, and their programs resume in the fall.)

Children are dismissed from the sanctuary during worship, just after the Children's Message.

Please join us on this exciting summer adventure!

Rooted in Christ  -

Growing in Love

Hello and Welcome, New Friend!

Welcome to the cyber-home of St. John’s United Church of Christ!  We are so glad you have found our website.  We hope that if you are seeking a church home, you will consider getting to know us—and letting us get to know you!

We are a congregation large enough to have two different worship services, but small enough to feel like a family.  Both of our worship services are blended in style, but our 9:30am worship includes nursery care and Church School for kids ages 3 through 12th grade.  Children are dismissed to church school from the sanctuary after our Children’s Message.  Our 11am Worship Service also includes nursery care, and includes musical selections from our choir. Everyone from both services is invited to our weekly Coffee and Fellowship Time at 10:30am.

We believe that every person God brings through our doors is a blessing to our congregation, and pray you will find St. John’s UCC a meaningful place to make your spiritual home.  If this isn’t the community that fits your spiritual needs, we also pray that you continue looking at other churches—we believe very much in the importance of every believer being a part of a faith community.

Faith is a journey, and we thank you for joining us on the journey today—we pray our paths cross soon!

Blessings on your journey,

Rev. Jennifer and the Good People of St. John’s UCC

Holy Sepulchre - 360 degree camera view

Check out these beautiful panoramic views of the Holy Sepulchre.  The Church of the Holy Sepulchre is venerated by many Christians as Golgotha(the Hill of Calvary), where Jesus was crucified, and is said to also contain the place where Jesus was buried (the sepulchre).

Be sure to watch the 4 different scenes. Click on the orange "details" box in the bottom right corner, and you will be able to scroll up and down and side to side.  Simply Awesome!!!
